I am an experienced, passionate, and well-trained professional dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve whole-person wellness.

I believe that true and lasting transformation happens when we care for the entire person—mind, heart, and spirit. This conviction is the foundation of my counseling practice.

Unlike traditional approaches that may focus solely on mental health, I bring the richness of both clinical mental health practice and deep theological understanding together. This integrated approach allows me to address not only your emotional and relational needs but also the underlying questions of meaning, purpose, and spiritual well-being.

​My Professional Foundation
My commitment to providing you with the highest level of care is backed by extensive education and experience. I have dedicated my career to study and service, which includes:

A commitment to education: I hold a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University and a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from the Theological University of America, along with additional advanced degrees in Theology and History.

Recognized experience: I am a Kentucky Licensed Pastoral Counselor (KLPC) and have over 21 years dedicated to full-time ministry and providing spiritual care within the community. My experience also includes working as a full-time school counselor.

Specialized Training: I am a Board Certified Christian Mental Health Coach and an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), equipped to assist with various challenges, including those related to focus, organization, and temperament.

While my professional training is essential, I believe it's important for you to know the heart behind the work. I understand the complexities of life because I live them, too:

Family Life: I have been happily married for over 26 years and am the proud father of three children. This personal experience deeply informs my empathy and practical approach to family and marital counseling.

Community & Service: I am an active minister for the Bethany Church of Christ in Franklin, KY. Serving my community reinforces my passion for helping people find hope and connection in their daily lives.

​I exclusively provide telehealth counseling. This is provided through a secure online HIPPA-compliant platform. I do not at this time provide on-site counseling.​
Special note on payment and insurance
As a direct-pay provider, I don't accept insurance directly. This allows me to focus completely on your care without the limitations and administrative burdens that come with being an in-network provider. However, if your insurance plan has out-of-network benefits, you may be able to get partial reimbursement for our sessions.
